Good, but needs a little work...

First I have to say that I like the writing in this piece. Even though the joke is a little predictable, there seemed to be a script and careful planning in making this piece rather than disorganized humor that is just "random."

However, the voices were a little hard to understand, and the animation could have been a little more fluid. This isn't bad, but there are a few things that could have been worked on, such synching the lips with the words that are spoken, or making the transitions more smooth.

Great!

I love the visuals in this piece. Although many people think it's easy to create a high-quality movie without sound effects, it's actually hard to make the action dynamic enough to reflect the changes in the music without overshadowing it. For the most part, this movie does it. I really love the replay button at the end.

One quibble, though. While I see the visual foreshadowing with regard to the main character, I'm confused as to how this is supposed to be an adaptation of Aladdin. There are visual elements that reference elements of the story, but this isn't like the original tale or any of the popular adaptations.

Very, very good!

Hey, I love this piece. I too thought in X7 that Axl's appearance, voice, and mannerisms were more feminine, although in X8, his new voice actor and his character model were rectified to make him more masculine.

Yup, I gotta agree with that.
Nice you enjoyed!

Wonderful...

What I like best about this piece is that you used both tweens and frame-by-frame to create a completely unique experience. I've seen a lot of pieces that are actually too reliant on fbf, where tweening would give a better flow to the action.

You added a wonderful menu, had an excellent use of sound, and this movie looks nice and is a joy to view repeatedly. Great work!

This is

I like this. You take an interesting spin on the stickman animation by having the room, rather than the stickman the star.

There are some flaws. For instance, when the room started to fill up with water, the stickman shouldhave been more buoyant and slowed down. I would have also liked a few sound effects.

Other than that this piece is good, and it reminds me of some of the more frustrating video games I've been playing as of late.

Nice...

This short film was funny, well animated, and perfectly timed. I haven't found the secret yet, but this film is excellent as it is. Thumbs up.

Ambitious, but overloaded

This piece is well done, but crammed with too many characters. Even though there is a nice feature to control the pace of the movie, the en medias res approach detracts from understanding what's going on. No mood is set in this piece other than confusion, but that appears to be an unintentional side effect rather than a deliberate artistic decision.

The sprites are nice, the music choices good, and I like the hand-drawn artwork, but I'm on the fence with this series. I'll check out a few more epsiodes in the future, but this is a unique, but inauspicious beginning.

The title sums up the problem.

This piece has no focus, and though this is purposely done, it comes across a silliness for silliness sake, which leaves me to ask, "What are you trying to communicate?" If you can't think of a title --even a bad one-- then it's a sign that this piece is unfinished and needs polishing.

Although it's done better than a lot of "random for randomness sake" Flash movies, the grapics vary from well-animated frame-by-frame, to terrible tweens. Coupled with the juvenile nature of the humor, I find one word describes this piece best..."Sophomoric." Perhaps that could be used as a title.

Mild visual spoilers is an understatement...

Given that this intro contains visuals for plot elements and characters that have yet to appear in the series, I should have taken that spoiler warning a little more seriously.

I love your work. You take sprites and turn them from pixel based images to active, breating characters of your own style. That's hard. I like this as a side feature, because you're talented at not only over the top fights and humor, but are a master director when it comes to openings. And yet every work of yours improves upon the last, which scares me because I can't even conceive how you can get any better than what you are.

Wonderful...

This is the best animation I've seen in a very long time.

I love the style, the animation, the shading, the sound, the music, the story. Everything. It's something that's funny, and also a little sad, but viewable for all audiences and has a universal appeal.

There's nothing to say, except that I like watching Flash movies on Newgrounds.
