[Fap to NG acts: Ocelot]

WTF

This has to be the most disturbing Flash to win an award. Granted, there is a nice graphical presentation, but the audio style is just abhorrent and the premise isn't funny at all. You gush over an account and then proceed to make fake "fapping" sounds over it. Putting aside the ick factor, this a Flash directed solely at another Newgrounds member who may or may not be a willling subject. On that grounds alone I find this morally objectionable. If you want to make a Flash to humiliate yourselves, that's one thing. Humiliating someone else in a Flash submission is just stupid.

[A Zelda Story]

Not Bad...but could be better...

A lot of the problems have already been mentioned. While some of the animated movie clips are fluid, the problem in most of the movie, all your characters are doing is standing still. For some pieces, an author can get away with it or better yet, use the static forms to tell a storyu. The song that this Flash uses is both short and fairly energetic. This is a Flash that should be more hyper, and while you made good direction choices given the material, you need more material. For instance, that running shot of Link is horrible. Also a litte shading couldn't hurt either, or some better backgrounds

With sound, I think the problem is that you can add a few sound effects that wouldn't take away from the song. Making a pure music video means that the visuals have to line up with the song exactly, and that can be VERY hard even for trained professionals. Adding a sound effect won't hurt a piece, and can help mask the moments where the action is too fast or two slow for the song.

Obviously, though, you can draw and animate well, which is why this review is a little harsher than I would normally make it. Perhaps it would be better if you didn't use Link on the play screen. Otherwise it gives raises people's expectations, then disappoints them.

BTW, I did like the part where Link threw his sword. That was a very nice old-school touch.

Near Flawless Recreation

You painstakingly recreated this scene from DBZ and the result is awesome. The only big problem is that since you broke up the lines, the background music in the show clashes with the music track you laid down. But otherwise...excellent!

Moderateky Humorous - Well drawn

As has been mentioned, this is a Flash that while not the most technically accomplished, had to be put together in less than a week, so I can understand the crudeness of the elements. Still there were some little problems such as backgrounds that are off center that could have been fixed.

I actually like your drawing style, and I had no plans to see Lady in the Water, so your Flash serves it purpose in further warning me away from the movie. Thumbs up!

Pushing the envelope of Flash

There are very few words to descrbe how inventive this animation is visually. So I will write very few words except to say that the fluidity and imagination of this piece is unmatched. You have performed effects in Flash that I find utterly mindboggling. Thumbs up! Thumbs waaay up!

[Cartoon Bball in Reallife]

Not bad...could be imporved.

Unlike most videos posted here, this Flash actually makes use of Flash objects. The interaction between your actor and the imaginary ball was okay, but it seemed off in some spots due to the fact that the ball seemed a little flat. If you add a story, some more audio/video manpiulation, and make the elemets mesh better, then you'd have a phenomenal piece. Even at this quality, though, this is good.

Amazing!

Every time you make one of these Flashes, they improve significantly on the prior ones. This one features taking advantage and creating a semi-3D perspective, side plitting humor, and of course, the best sprite on sprite action in any Flash I've seen, even outdoing my previous favorites. Phenominal pacing, direction, and balance, and a Flash menu that is laid out very well, inaddition to music, sound effects, and sprites that are absolutely wonderful. And under the file limit too? I have run out of compliments. I can only declare this the best...Flash...ever...

Great

Graphically, even though much of the action is tweened images, the amount of details put into each of the drawings is amazing, and every component of this Flash was of professional quality.

I do wonder how Zelda was able come at a stalemate with Ganon, but then again, she does have the triforce of Wisdom, so I suppose tat's left to the viewer's imagination. I do realize this is the only way the series could end, if all three principal participants perish.

My only gripe is that there's no voice acting in this piece. I want to hear them talk!

The visuals are amazing and the sound astounding given this file's size. What a wonderfully humorous Flash!

[Bass EXE Vs Sigma]

Better than the sum of its parts

You would think that Bass and Sigma fighting would be a pointless fight. Instead you turned it into something entertaining.

The sprite work is decent, but the real problem is that here and there, I saw things that were a bit off. I would have rather all the proportions be kept intact and everything look as clean and crisp as possible. The actual voice acting was pretty good (better than in the games) but the sound quality took a hit. Thankfully you provided subtitles. On your next submission, you may want to do a little more editing of the audio before you import it into Flash. Yet this is good. Thanks for submitting it.
