Hilarious...if I could hear it.

This piece is hilariously funny, has a great style, direction, and even has a decent menu. But it needs subtitles, because I could only understand 60% of what was being said. The sound effects are clear and the voice acting was good, so it's not as though the sound was awful or non-existent. It's just the recorded dialogue was hard to hear.

This is a good piece, but the audio quality of the spoken word renders it short of fantastic.

Even better than the last one.

I thought Super Mario Z Episode 3 was the best Flash on this portal, but this one is pretty close. While it seems Episode 3 was more ambitious at times, Episode 4 is exceuted so *perfectly* that it surpasses Episode 3. I'm worried that if you continue the series, you can't go any higher. Why? Because with this entry, you have reached perfection!

Good, but a little rough around the edges.

You have a great sense of humor and direction. I like the blend of drawn and sprited work. Last, the sound is PERFECT. But there are two interrelated problems: graphics and presentation.

The graphics in this piece seemed a bit off. It looks like you did any editing of the sprites in Flash or a barebones editing tool rather than using a pre-edited sprite or editing your own. This means most of the edits looked...well bad. I understand some of it was intentional, but more often than not, it made me cringe. This was especially true in the last section. While I like how you tried to make Link took as though it were from a 3/4 prespective, it just looked stretched and skewed to me. It would have been better to make a true diagonal sprite from scratch...and if that was from scratch, you needed to do a lot better on that one.

The other issue I have is presentation. While this is presented well, some of the choices you made were not the best. I know you want to get that "scratchy" line feel, but there are times where those lines were hard to read. There were other times sprited/pixeled effects could have been used instead of drawn ones.

This is a good Flash, but nothing upsets me more that a good or great flash that is just a tad short of outstanding.

Great...but could have been better.

Great sound, good sprite work, and a genuinely funny storyline...you have all three, and I must say I am impressed.

There is room for improvement, however. From the way it's written, it makes me believe English is your second language. The whole dialogue seems to be a bit "off." The characters speak to each other in words that have a formal connotation. As a result, while the story is funny, the dialogue is a bit lifeless.

Second, while some of the visuals look great, there were moments where I believe you could have done better in your choices. For instance, when Mario gave Yoshi the money, why not use a gold coiln, and rewrite the dialogue as to not include "real world" monetary values. Also, when Yoshi climbed the stairs, his movements were a little off. There are other things that bothered me, but I hope you can understand what I mean.

Don't get me wrong, this Flash is very good. It's just these little details prevent me from giving it a five.

Good for a chuckle

Some TOTW are actually good. Some TOTW are blandly average or blandly bad. Some TOTW are sick and shouldn't have been even let into the portal. And there are some TOTW such as this, that are bad enough to be showcased but not so bad that they aren't enjoyable.

The zooming at the end made this the funniest thing I've seen all week. It's like the end of Dracula 3000, only worse.

Wonderful voice acting...

This would be an average piece, but the humor and especially the voice acting bring this up a few notches. I especially like X's voice, which sounded like a great fit for the character.

A wonderful, short film that is presented well, drawn well, animated well, and acted well. There were a few rough spots in the presentation, but all in all, a magnificent effort.

[Street Fighter II: Diving]

Graphically Horrid...but absolutely Hilarious!

Let me just get this out the way first. The graphics were horrible. If you're going to use sprites either make a more elaborate background or steal one. Nevertheless your sense of humor help fleshes out what is a great idea -- it seems Capcom is making the Street Fighters be anything but their namesakes. The piece does go on a little long, even though it doesn't drag, and it's a nice parody of real life events.

Unbelievably Original

It's hard to create a piece that epitomizes non-sequitur without being nonsensical. This Flash not only succeeds in this difficult quest but passes with flying colors.

The graphics are a unique blend of sprited and hand drawn action, making this avery visually innovaive piece. You also have a very creative menu techinique, and rarely do I visit Flash artist's site. It about as interactive as a movie is going to get.

There is one slight problem...overkill. I think this piece goes on just a tad too long and as a result, my mind feels drained from the oversaturation.

I know there was a bit too much altogether, I just wanted to show folks that Another Wario (V1 & V2) wasn’t stupid, (or retarded as they say over there) so I made sure that I get the points from the originals across, Thanks for my best review ever!

Pretty Good

This piece is good, and the actual sprite animation is spot on, but it looks like the visual quality of the Flash file itself is a bit lacking. Also, there's that annoying line at the bottom of the Flash window as it plays. If you spruce up the presentation of the elements a little, you have a winner.
